Brad Bergh is an independent information consultant providing leadership modeling decisions and using data to answer questions of importance. Mr. Bergh has over 40 years of experience in Decision Support helping decision makers take a disciplined, value-focused, probability-based approach to decision making at all levels. His most recent research is in measuring the quantity and value of information, and in using measured information to improve decision processes.
He is a Veteran having served with the Navy Security Group Command as an Operations Research Officer and has been an employee of EDS, Dupont, Version, Lotus Development, and Teradata, among others. In a consulting capacity, his clients include Time Warner Cable, The Home Depot, Met Life, The Defense Commissary Agency, UPS, The Navy Federal Credit Union, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Pennsylvania, and The PQ Corporation. During his career, he has filed roles with titles such as Executive Director, Data Architect, Data Modeler, Founder and CEO, Project Lead, and Managing Consultant.
Mr. Bergh has a Master’s Degree in Economics from Virginia Tech. His BA degree in Economics and Applied Mathematics is from the University of Delaware.
He has been a member of TDWI since January 1996 and is a Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) at the Mastery level as well as a Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner.
Brad lives with his wife, Jeanie, on the side of a mountain overlooking a pastural valley near Asheville, North Carolina where together they like to absorb the artistic culture, visit farmers’ markets, hike the trails, swim the streams, raft the rivers, and visit the local brew-pubs with their kids and grandchildren, all of whom live nearby.
