Michael has more than 15 years of experience in IT and has been working on business intelligence topics since 2008, including data mining, data warehousing, dashboards and reports. He has consulted for a number of clients in the automotive industry, insurance industry, and non-profits. In addition, he has consulted for government organizations in Germany on business intelligence topics. Michael is responsible for the Data Vault 2.0 training program at Olschimke Beratungsgesellschaft mbH, a German consulting firm specialized in data warehousing and business intelligence.
He is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover, Germany. He co-authored Dan Linstedt’s book “Building a Scalable Data Warehouse with Data Vault 2.0”. In addition, he has published multiple articles in journals, both academic and professional and regularly presents at conferences. Michael is Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner and Data Vault 2.0 Master. His academic background includes a diploma from the University of Applied Sciences in Bingen, Germany and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Santa Clara University in the Silicon Valley.
