Data Vault: The Ace Up Betway’s Sleeve
Betway struggled with handling data that came from multiple products that were offered to their customers all across the globe. Their data platform was outdated, slow and, at times, inaccurate. This impacted the business’ ability to make fast and accurate decisions – they were not using their data as a competitive edge.
In this presentation I shall discuss how we convinced Beltway’s data team and stakeholders to invest in a Data Vault project by explaining why we saw Data Vault 2.0 as the solution and the limits we could proactively put in place within the project to lower the risk of their investment. I will also illustrate the steps we implemented to ensure the project was a success in the short and long term, especially when working with a small, busy and untrained team. Finally, I will detail the key benefits that different members of the team experienced and how the business have planned on progressing with the project.
