WHO is hosting the WWDVC 2026?
The 11th World-Wide Data Vault Consortium is hosted by DataVaultAlliance and Dan Linstedt, the Inventor of Data Vault.
WHAT is the WWDVC?
The World-Wide Data Vault Consortium was created by Dan Linstedt to bring the global Data Vault community together to share knowledge, best practices, and innovations in data warehousing and analytics. Its purpose is to foster collaboration, education, and standardization around the evolving Data Vault solution. He has also made it a point this year to foster community, connection, and education.
WHERE is WWDVC 2026 being held?
This 2026 conference will take place at the Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa in Stowe, Vermont, USA. It has been tradition to hold the WWDVC at Stoweflake, and this year especially, we are looking forward to the newly renovated updates awaiting conference attendees.

WHEN is the WWDVC?
WWDVC 2026 will be held in late Spring, starting Monday morning, April 27th through Thursday noon, April 30th, 2026, in response to previous attendee feedback to accommodate graduation season, Mother’s Day, and other global holiday/summer breaks.
HOW to get there?
Here are the three most convenient airport options to get to Stowe, Vermont.
- Burlington International Airport (BTV) – about 45 minutes from Stowe.
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) – about 3.5 hours away.
- Montreal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) – about 2.5 hours away (passport required).
For most travelers, BTV is the closest and easiest choice.
How do I get to Stoweflake Resort from BTV?
Stoweflake suggests the following options for transportation from Burlington Airport:
- Car rentals – Flexible if you’d like to explore Stowe or Vermont’s scenic byways.
- Rideshare – Stoweflake recommends using local rideshare companies. Please reach out to us if you would like their contact information.
Note: Once you’re at the resort, most things, including restaurants, shops, and Stowe Bowl (Game Night!), are within walking distance or a short drive.
How do I RESERVE A ROOM at Stoweflake?

Important: This exclusive rate is available only until April 1, 2026. After that, regular room rates will apply. Rooms go quickly, so make your reservation early!
What’s the WEATHER like in Stowe, VT in April?
Spring in Vermont is a mixed bag, so come prepared!
- Daytime highs: 45–60°F (7–15°C)
- Evenings: 30–40°F (-1–4°C)
- Conditions: Crisp mornings, possible mud season trails, and even the chance of a stray snowflake.
- Pack layers, a warm jacket, and comfy shoes.
ALLERGY Season Alert!
Mid-to-late April in Vermont is also early allergy season. Common allergens include tree pollen (especially birch and maple), grass pollen, and mold spores from melting snow and damp ground. If you have seasonal allergies, pack your usual medications so you can focus on sessions, not sneezing.
What FOOD OPTIONS are available?
- Conference meals:
- Breakfast will be provided by DVA on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings for all paid attendees.
- Lunch: Attendees are free to explore. Luckily, there are plenty of local restaurants within walking distance of Stoweflake, ranging from cozy cafés to Vermont-style pubs. Lunch breaks are approximately 1.5 hours between sessions.
- Dinner & beyond: Stowe village offers excellent local dining options. More information on local dining options will be available closer to the conference date.
Can I bring FAMILY?
Absolutely! Stoweflake is a family-friendly destination, the resort features spa services, and wellness amenities for family members to enjoy while you’re in sessions. Note: Only paid WWDVC attendees may join the conference breakfasts, workshops, and sessions.
Beyond the resort, Stowe itself is full of nature-friendly activities; think scenic walks, hiking trails, and charming shops in the village. It’s a great spot for families to relax and explore while you dive into Data Vault.
PACKING Tips
Bring casual, comfortable clothes for sessions and socializing, plus a sweater for cool evenings.
- CRAZY SHIRT DAY: A tradition that Dan started years ago, crazy shirt day encourages attendees to have fun with their wardrobe and wear their best funky “Hawaiian” styled shirt. In recent conferences, attendees have Won Prizes for their participation – this year’s prize has yet to be announced.
Data Vault Game Night – Bowling: Make sure to bring a comfortable outfit for Bowling Night – Hosted by DataRebels. Bowling will be right across the street from Stoweflake resort, about a 5 min walk.
